This policy explains how DWGDrawing handles information when you browse our CAD library, search, download drawings, use the online viewer, or use authorized upload and administration tools.
Information we process
- Search activity: submitted search terms, submission times, result counts and clicks on search results. A random identifier links a search submission to its result clicks; it is not a persistent visitor identifier. Please do not enter personal or confidential information into search fields.
- Download activity: the drawing identifier and time when a download starts. This measures download requests, not confirmed completed downloads. Our search and download statistics tables do not store visitors' IP addresses or browser user-agent strings.
- Uploads and accounts: authorized contributors' email addresses, account roles, uploaded files, preview images, filenames, descriptions and administration activity. Published drawings and their associated public content are available to visitors.
- Technical information: our hosting, security and advertising providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request details and cookies to deliver and protect their services.
How information is used
We use information to deliver drawings and downloads, operate the online viewer, understand which content visitors need, improve search and the library, manage contributor access and protect the service from abuse.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare for hosting, file storage, database services and access security. Information necessary to provide these services is processed by Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
When an authorized contributor requests AI-generated content, preview images and associated drawing information may be sent to the configured AI provider to create descriptions. Do not upload confidential or personal information that should not be processed in this way.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense on our main website. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. Other third-party advertising vendors or networks may also use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads.

You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect sign-in or other features.
Retention and security
Uploaded files, account records and activity records can remain stored while they support the service. Search and download statistics currently do not have a fixed automatic deletion period. Retention may also depend on operational, security and applicable legal needs. Access to administration tools is restricted, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. Include enough information to identify the relevant record, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify a request before acting on it. International processing
Our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country. Their privacy notices describe their processing practices.
